Not sure which licence or course you need? Start here. Central Transport Training can help you understand the requirements, choose the right licence category and guide you through the next steps.

1. Decide What You Want to Drive

Rigid lorry, articulated vehicle, minibus, bus or coach

2. Check the Licence Requirements

You may need a medical, provisional entitlement and theory tests before practical training begins.

3. Choose the Right Training Course

We provide Category C+E, Category C, C1, Category D & D1, Driver CPC, Module 3A and Module 4 training.

4. Speak to Our Team

If you are unsure which route is right for you, contact us and we will explain the next steps.

Category C1

For vehicles between 3,500kg and 7,500kg.

Category C

For rigid goods vehicles over 3,500kg.

Category C+E

For articulated and drawbar goods vehicles.

Category D & D1

For minibuses, buses and coaches.

Driver CPC

For professional drivers who need Initial or Periodic Driver CPC.
